Skylight paints your desktop as the sky outside. It reads your local weather from the same live source the Weather widget uses and blends it with your local time of day: dawn warms the horizon, clouds thicken and grey the field under overcast, real rain or snow falls, fog milks everything pale, and the whole palette leans warm or cool with the actual temperature. A large, quiet temperature reads in the corner over an editorial serif line — 'feels like 51°, a gentle breeze'. It stays soft and legible enough to live behind your icons, and if the network is unreachable it simply becomes a beautiful time-of-day sky, so it never looks broken.
