ConsoleA desktop overlay for Windows 10 and 11Pro
Console runs a cold boot on your desktop. A green-phosphor terminal wakes up, posts, counts your cores, sizes your memory, mounts every drive it can find and prints your uptime — all of it read from the machine it is running on, so the first thing you see is your own hardware introducing itself. Then it settles into a live monitor: CPU and memory bars, a row per drive, network throughput with a rolling history, and a table of the processes that are actually doing work right now. It reads, never writes. If a reading is unavailable it prints that plainly instead of inventing a number, because a monitor that lies is worse than no monitor. Four phosphor colours, optional scanlines and CRT flicker, and it can sit in any corner of the screen so your desktop icons keep their place.
