Questions
How do I put a clock on my Windows desktop?
Install WidgetSpark from the Microsoft Store, open the tray icon and click a clock to add it. It appears on the desktop straight away and you drag it where you want it. There is no configuration file and no account.
Is there a free clock widget for Windows?
Yes. The analog clock and the digital clock are both in the free tier, along with the countdown, quick timer, stopwatch and focus timer. The flip clock, world clock and earth clock are part of WidgetSpark Pro.
Can a clock widget sit in the Windows taskbar?
Some of them can. Widgets marked for the taskbar dock into it as a strip beside the tray, and the same widgets also run on the SparkBar across the top of the screen. The rest float on the desktop.
Does it work on Windows 10 as well as Windows 11?
Both. WidgetSpark runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11, and the clocks are not tied to the built-in Windows 11 widgets board — they are their own windows on your desktop.
Can I show several time zones at once?
The world clock shows multiple time zones in one widget, and you can also place as many copies of a clock as you like, each set to its own zone.
