Focus Timer Widget

Time

Focus Timer uses the one shape a taskbar is actually good at. Instead of a lone number counting down, the strip lays out the whole cycle — four blocks of focus, the short breaks between them, and the long break at the end — as a single rule drawn to scale. The part you've spent is dim, the part ahead is bright, and a cursor sits at exactly where you are. So a glance tells you not just how long is left in this block, but how much of the hour is still in front of you. Breaks aren't drawn as another colour; they're the gaps. Rest is depicted as the absence of work, and the only warm colour in the widget appears while you're actually in one. Click the strip for the controls: start, pause, skip a block, or reset the cycle.
