AlmanacA desktop overlay for Windows 10 and 11Pro
Almanac puts the month on your desktop as type, not as a panel. The grid sits directly on your own wallpaper with no frame and no plate, today marked with a thin ring rather than a filled block — a ring stays readable over a photograph, where a solid square becomes a hole punched in it. Next to it the moon is drawn from the real numbers: the terminator is placed at tonight's illuminated fraction and leans the right way for waxing or waning, so the shape on screen is the shape in the sky rather than the nearest of eight stock images. It reads the same lunar arithmetic the rest of WidgetSpark uses, computed on your machine, so it needs no network, no key and no location. Both blocks can be dragged anywhere on the screen and stay where you put them, and the desktop underneath stays clickable everywhere you aren't drawing.
