IsobarA live wallpaper and desktop scene for Windows 10 and 11Pro

Isobar turns your desktop into a working weather chart. It pulls your local conditions from the same live source the Weather widget uses and renders them as a field of drifting isobaric contours — the lines flow faster in high wind — with real precipitation layered on top: angled rain, drifting snow, or soft haze, each matched to the actual sky. A quiet instrument panel signs the corner with temperature, feels-like, wind, humidity and a live wind vane. The whole grade shifts with the weather — cool blue when it's clear, deep violet under storms, pale under snow. If it can't reach the network it simply runs as a calm ambient chart, so it always looks finished.

What it does

  • Live local weather via the same source as the Weather widget
  • Flowing isobar contours that quicken with real wind speed
  • Precipitation matched to conditions — rain, snow, or haze
  • Instrument readout: temp, feels-like, wind, humidity, wind vane
  • Condition-driven colour grade; graceful ambient fallback offline

Where it runs

Placed and resized like a widget, so it can sit in a corner rather than take the whole screen.
