Net Speed Widget

System

Net Speed puts the two numbers you check during a download on the taskbar, and draws them the way network traffic has always been drawn: received above the line, sent below it, one axis between them. That convention is why the graph needs no labels — you can see a download arrive, level off and finish without reading anything. The scale follows the last minute and comes back down slowly, so a steady transfer stays a steady shape instead of surging every time the graph rescales. Idle is a real state and looks like one, rather than like a widget that has stopped. Click it for peak speeds, the adapter's own received and sent totals, and how much has moved since you opened it. Set it to bits if you think in the numbers your ISP quotes.
